WORKSHOP
Cool Kids Make Art, Zine making? Oracle cards? Celebrating your inner child? That sounds like a lot! Don’t worry though, Marta will be there to assist your creative process with prompts and practical help. We will uplift our child selves, the hobbies and interests we could spend hours on and what made us all pretty amazing. We’ll do that through art, making either zines or Oracle cards as a final product (or both, no limits to your creativity). No previous experience in art making is required, everyone is welcome and the workshop can be adjusted and tailored to individual needs. Sappho’s Friends is a community space by and for queer women, non-binary people, and trans folks of all genders. We run a wide range of events, from our three monthly staples (‘Life Drawing’, ‘Craft Nights’, and ‘Queer Book Club’) to a rotating mix of workshops and socials. These have included everything from ‘Make Your Own Harness’ and mushroom foraging, to zine making, beer brewing, and even singing workshops specifically for trans voices.

DJ ALPHADIVA
ALPHADIVA is a Norwegian, queer and nonbinary DJ. They have gathered the greatest divas & alphas from a wide range of genres to give you an unforgettable confidence boost, and kickstart your inner revolution! They play at nightclubs and festivals internationally and all across Norway. “Growing up different, queer and trans in a small-town; music became my liberation. Music is the space where I could truly and fully be myself. A place in which to feel safe, but also to gain the strength and courage to continue living authentically. As ALPHADIVA I wish to share that space with others. Playfully mixing different rhythms and genres to songs across decades. Much like my experience with gender, it ebbs and flows. My requirements are deep bass, lots of attitude and delightful rhythms. Music and dance have the power to heal and empower across communities and cultures. That’s why I welcome all of you exactly as you are, to our dancefloor.”

During the workshop we will share experiences, play with symbols, language, and actions, and create small rituals that can be used both personally and collectively. No prior knowledge is required — just curiosity and a willingness to explore. You are warmly welcome to a gathering that makes space for depth, creativity, and community!
